For decades, Compagnie de Beau Vallon has played an active role in the economic development of the South East, while ensuring particular attention to social well-being, environmental protection and conservation of the region's heritage.

Committed to further developing its previous contributions, Compagnie de Beau Vallon has become Groupe Beau Vallon, reflecting on how to take the region to new heights, while preserving its natural charm and rich heritage.    

 

A history rooted in its agricultural past

Established in 1921, Compagnie de Beau Vallon Limitée draws its roots from the centuries-old history of sugarcane cultivation and processing in Mauritius. Initially solely devoted to sugarcane production , the company expanded its horizons during the 1800s.  

Building on this agricultural heritage dating back to the first half of the 19th century, it diversified its activities, encompassing hotels, tourism, real estate, land development, agricultural diversification, and soon leisure.

Ambitious transformation
 

The rebranding goes beyond a simple change of name and logo. It reflects a major diversification of activities, but above all the Group's vision for the future. The distinct entities, such as Beau Vallon Agri-business, Beau Vallon Property, Beau Vallon Hospitality, and Beau Vallon Leisure, will merge under a common umbrella.

This transformation goes beyond aesthetics; it marks the start of a new dynamic focused on the growth of the various business units. Groupe Beau Vallon is committed to making a greater contribution to the development of the south-east of the island, while preserving the authenticity and unique character of the region where it is deeply rooted.
