How can your clients benefit from these services?
Clients who are interested in investment solutions are primarily looking to secure their assets, and expect an ultra-personalised service, and a fully-developed platform. The safe custody of the securities is guaranteed by Euroclear, rated AA+ by Fitch Ratings and AA by Standard & Poor’s. In other words, the securities are kept off the Bank’s balance sheet. We also have two highly reputable shareholders, Ciel Finance and I&M Holdings PLC. Our securities platform is multi-currency, offering our clients access to all asset classes across the world’s financial centres. And, of course, we have embraced the fact that offering digital tools is essential, but we strongly believe that a personalised approach is key to serving our clients better.
How does the ‘custody’ service fit into your overall wealth management solutions?
It’s the central pillar of our offering. For example, with the attractive yields we’re seeing today on sovereign bonds denominated in euros, dollars or pounds sterling, it’s very easy to reap the benefits with very little risk to the investor. Our asset management partners offer openarchitecture portfolio management solutions, which further guarantees independence and avoids any conflict of interest.
